These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the RiddleWick mobile application (the "App"), provided by Alex Naumov ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App on devices you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial entertainment, in accordance with these Terms and with the app store's terms (including, for iOS, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which applies in addition to these Terms).

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

3. Pricing and purchases

RiddleWick is currently offered free of charge and contains no advertising and no in-app purchases. If paid features are introduced in the future, they will be governed by additional terms presented at that time.

4. Intellectual property

The App, including its games, design, mascot ("Wick"), graphics, and content, is owned by Alex Naumov and protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you. Classic puzzle concepts themselves are not claimed as proprietary; the specific implementation, artwork, and branding are.

5. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alex Naumov will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from or related to your use of (or inability to use) the App. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

7. Changes to the App and Terms

We may modify or discontinue the App, or update these Terms, at any time. Material changes to these Terms will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence provide otherwise.
