Privacy Policy

Overview

QuietDay is designed around privacy. The app requires no account, collects no personal data from you, and does not transmit your entries to any server. Your days are yours.

Information We Collect

QuietDay does not collect, transmit, or store any personally identifiable information on the developer's servers.

The app stores the following data locally on your device:

• The color you choose for each day.
• An optional single line of text you write for that day.
• The date associated with each entry.

This data never leaves your device unless you have enabled iCloud synchronization (see below).

How Your Information Is Used

Your entries exist solely to give you a private daily archive to revisit. The developer does not access, process, analyze, or use your entries for any purpose.

• No advertising.
• No analytics on your content.
• No AI processing of your entries.
• No sale or sharing of personal data with third parties.

iCloud Synchronization

QuietDay supports optional iCloud synchronization using Apple's CloudKit framework. If you have iCloud enabled on your device and have granted the app permission, your entries may be synchronized across your Apple devices through your personal iCloud account.

iCloud sync is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. The developer does not have access to data stored in your iCloud account. You can disable iCloud sync at any time in your device's Settings.

Data Retention

All data is stored locally on your device under your full control. No data is retained on the developer's servers because none is collected there.

You may delete individual entries within the app at any time. You may also remove all app data by deleting the QuietDay application from your device. If iCloud sync is enabled, you can manage or delete that data through iCloud settings on your device or at iCloud.com.

Children's Privacy

QuietDay does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. The app does not require account registration, does not collect personal data, and is not directed at children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided information through the app, please contact us so we can address your concerns.

Third-Party Services

QuietDay does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or data collection SDKs. The only external service involved is Apple's iCloud, which is optional and described above.

Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
