WhyLens is designed to help you reflect on decisions. Your privacy is a core principle of the app.

Data Storage

WhyLens stores your decisions locally on your device. The app does not require an account and does not transmit your decision data to external servers.

Data Collection

WhyLens does not collect personal data.
The app does not include third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking technologies.

Cloud Sync (Optional)

If cloud synchronization is enabled in the future, it will use the operating system’s secure cloud storage (such as Apple iCloud or Google Drive).
In that case, your data will remain encrypted and associated only with your personal device account.

We do not have access to your stored decision data.

Third-Party Services

WhyLens does not use advertising networks or behavioral tracking.

Device Permissions

WhyLens may request permission to send notifications in order to remind you to review past decisions.

These notifications are generated locally on your device.

Children’s Privacy

WhyLens does not knowingly collect personal data from children.
